These children have lost interest in the world around them. Even a bright
playground isn't enough to draw them away from the muck. They ignore
their immediate surroundings as well, not even bothering to toss the
discarded cans around them into the recycling bin. If the children don't
care, their future may be as elusive as the balloons flying away above the
park.
