Aleph-Beth Tarot Deck
Michele Jackson created this Majors only deck to teach herself the Hebrew alphabet. Each card has the meaning of its corresponding letter somewhere on the image. I still have not memorized all of the letters and their meanings, but making the deck was fun none the less.
The deck was done on 3" X 5" cards and I learned a couple of new tricks. Alexandra Genetti taught me to use Mylar for more realistic looking water. It allows the colors behind it to show through just like the real thing. Kinko's charges the same amount for 8 1/2" X 14" (legal) copies as they do for 8 1/2" X 11" copies. You can fit more cards on the larger size bringing down your copier costs. You can also minimize the border by putting a plain white sheet of paper on the copier for the first scan, and then quickly substituting your color original. I found that mounting the originals on a pre-sized colored background made this easy to do. I don't think I would have had time to arrange the original cards on the copier before the second pass. Using the large paper and no borders, I was able to fit six 3" X 5" cards to a sheet.
